You’d act as Rhenus Logistics’ commercial sustainability expert facing customers — segmenting the client base by ESG maturity, building green logistics value propositions, equipping the sales team to have credible sustainability conversations, and leading the sustainability component of major bids and RFQs.
Logistics is responsible for a significant share of corporate Scope 3 emissions, and growing numbers of procurement teams now score it in supplier evaluations. This role sits at exactly that pressure point: translating Rhenus’ decarbonisation capabilities — multimodal, SAF, electric heavy-duty — into commercial offers that help customers meet their climate targets.
This suits someone who combines genuine sustainability knowledge with a commercial edge — comfortable in front of a client, confident presenting decarbonisation data, and energised by being the bridge between product and sales.
