FAQ del ruolo

What are the main missions and responsibilities of this role?

As an intern within the International CSR department, you will actively contribute to the implementation of the societal engagement policy for France. This involves managing and animating partnerships with non-profits focused on equal opportunity and professional integration, as well as coordinating skills-based sponsorship programs. You will also play a key role in designing awareness tools for disability and non-discrimination. Your work extends to promoting well-being and quality of life at work (QVT) through internal campaigns and collaborative events with the Human Resources and Communications teams.

Key learning opportunities for this job

This role offers a unique window into how a global luxury brand operationalizes its social responsibility strategy. You will gain hands-on experience in project management within a highly structured corporate environment, learning to navigate complex internal and external ecosystems. Beyond technical CSR metrics, you will develop expertise in inclusive HR practices and corporate philanthropy. The exposure to diverse departments like Purchasing and Corporate Communication will broaden your understanding of cross-functional sustainability integration.

How does the ideal candidate look like (experience, skills)?

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in CSR, Business, or Human Resources. A minimum of six months of prior experience in associative or project management roles is highly valued, as it demonstrates the practical empathy and organizational skills required for this position. Technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint) is essential. Soft skills are equally critical; we look for someone with strong interpersonal abilities, creative initiative, and the professional rigor necessary to meet the standards of a high-end luxury House.

Advice to stand out and make a successful application

To stand out at Dior, emphasize your ability to bridge the gap between brand prestige and social impact. Highlight specific examples from your past experiences where you successfully managed emotional or social projects that required both precision and empathy. In your cover letter, articulate your vision of 'luxury as a force for good.' Showcase your excellent communication skills by providing a polished, professional application that reflects the House’s dedication to aesthetic and functional excellence.

What aspects of the company's sustainability is this role likely to focus on?

This role is primarily focused on the Social (S) pillar of ESG. You will likely work on projects related to diversity and inclusion (D&I), particularly tackling barriers for people with disabilities and promoting gender equality through parental support initiatives. There is also a significant focus on employee engagement. This means you will facilitate ways for Dior staff to connect with the brand's purpose through volunteering and local community impact, ensuring that sustainability is lived internally rather than just reported externally.

What are the main challenges someone in this role might face?

One of the primary challenges will be the transversal nature of the role. Coordinating with diverse departments such as Procurement and Social Management requires high adaptability and a persuasive communication style to ensure CSR objectives remain a priority across different business functions. Additionally, maintaining the high excellence standards expected in the luxury sector while dealing with social issues—which can sometimes be less predictable than operational tasks—requires a balance of extreme rigor and creative problem-solving.

How could a typical day look like for someone in this position?

A typical day might begin with a meeting to coordinate a volunteering event with an NGO partner, followed by drafting a communication kit for an internal diversity awareness campaign. You might then spend the afternoon analyzing QVT data or preparing a presentation for HR stakeholders. No two days are identical; you could be on-site helping to set up a disability inclusion forum one day, and focused on strategic tool development for HR managers the next. Regular check-ins with the CSR Manager ensure projects remain aligned with the International strategy.

What are the opportunities for professional growth and development in this role?

Interning at Parfums Christian Dior provides a prestigious entry point into the LVMH ecosystem, offering extensive networking opportunities with sustainability and HR professionals. This role serves as a significant career accelerator for those aiming for permanent CSR positions within the luxury industry. Successful interns often develop a professional maturity that prepares them for junior project manager roles. High performers may be identified for future talent pools within the LVMH group, known for its internal mobility and development programs.

The main stakeholders you might be interacting with

You will be in constant contact with the International CSR Manager and the wider HR community in France. Interaction with Corporate Communication and Events teams is frequent to ensure the brand's social actions are communicated effectively. Externally, you will act as a bridge between the Maison and non-profit partners, service providers, and disability inclusion experts. Effective stakeholder management is key to ensuring that Dior's external collaborations are both impactful and aligned with brand values.
