In this role, you will help bridge the gap between corporate sustainability strategy and the actual daily experience of a global workforce. You will take ownership of the Experience Forward program, ensuring it moves beyond HR theory to become a practical business asset through proactive communication, reporting, and change management support.

This position is deeply rooted in the social pillar of ESG, focusing on intergenerational equity and the future of work. By joining the Group Sustainability Team during the launch of the Impact 2030 strategy, you will play a key part in demonstrating that a truly sustainable company cares as much about its human capital and social impact as it does about its carbon footprint.

This suits someone who is a collaborative communicator with a flair for project management and a genuine interest in social innovation. You should feel comfortable navigating a large international organization while translating complex corporate goals into engaging narratives for employees around the world.

FAQ de l’offre

What are the main missions and responsibilities of this role?

As a Future Ready intern, you will primarily drive the Experience Forward Program, ensuring it is successfully integrated across all business functions. This involves coordinating a global network of ambassadors and creating strategic communication materials that translate sustainability goals into actionable employee engagement. You will also contribute to the structuring of the Impact 2030 strategy. This includes assisting in the design of pilot programs, defining implementation roadmaps, and building tracking tools to monitor progress against the company's long-term social and environmental objectives.

Key learning opportunities for this job

This role offers a unique window into how a global leader structures its Group Sustainability Strategy. You will learn to manage large-scale change management initiatives and move beyond theoretical CSR to see how social impact programs are operationalized in a complex, multi-site corporate environment. You will develop advanced skills in cross-cultural project management and data-driven storytelling. Working with central and local teams will sharpen your ability to harmonize global strategies with local regulations and diverse employee profiles.

How does the ideal candidate look like (experience, skills)?

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in CSR, Strategy, or Corporate Communications. You should possess a high level of agility and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift as global strategies evolve. Fluency in English is essential, as you will be interacting with stakeholders worldwide. Strong analytical skills and prior exposure to project management tools will help you manage the reporting and data-tracking components of the role effectively.

Advice to stand out and make a successful application

To stand out, demonstrate your understanding of the social dimension of ESG. Schneider Electric is famous for its environmental efforts, so showing a specific passion for human capital, intergenerational equity, and the 'S' in ESG will signal a strong alignment with this specific role. Highlight any experience where you managed diverse stakeholders or led a project from concept to data reporting. Showing that you are comfortable with both the creative side of communication and the rigorous side of data-driven decision-making will make your profile very attractive.

What aspects of the company's sustainability is this role likely to focus on?

The role is heavily weighted toward the social impact dimension of sustainability. Specifically, you will focus on employee development, intergenerational knowledge transfer, and ensuring that the workforce is prepared for the changing nature of the energy and automation industry. Additionally, you will support the broader Impact 2030 framework, which likely covers decarbonization and circularity, but your daily work will be the human engine that drives these corporate goals through engagement and culture change.

What are the main challenges someone in this role might face?

The biggest challenge will be driving consistency across different countries with varying regulations and cultural norms. Adapting a global CEO-led initiative like Experience Forward to fit local needs while maintaining the core strategy requires significant diplomatic and analytical skill. You may also face the difficulty of breaking down silos. Convincing business leaders that sustainability programs are a business asset rather than just an HR checkbox requires persistence and very clear, value-oriented communication.

How could a typical day look like for someone in this position?

A typical day might begin with a coordination meeting with local ambassadors in APAC or Europe to gather feedback on program deployment. You might then spend the afternoon drafting a success story for the internal news portal or updating a dashboard that tracks program participation. Your schedule will likely include strategy workshops for the 2026-2030 roadmap, where you provide support in structuring pilot phases and ensuring that communication tools are ready for a internal global launch.

What are the opportunities for professional growth and development in this role?

Interns at Schneider Electric are highly valued, with a high percentage of participants recommending the experience. Success in this role could lead to full-time opportunities within the Sustainability, HR, or Strategy departments, especially as the Impact 2030 strategy scales up. Beyond direct hiring, the visibility of this role—working on a CEO-sponsored program—provides networking opportunities with senior leadership and global experts that are rare at the internship level.

The main stakeholders you might be interacting with

You will interact daily with the Group Sustainability Team and the Corporate Citizenship department. These stakeholders will provide the strategic direction and mentorship throughout your internship. Externally to your team, you will collaborate with HR leaders, business unit managers, and a global network of ambassadors. You will also coordinate with communication specialists to ensure that the social impact narrative is consistent across internal and external platforms.
