Working at the Biospringer production site, you will own the daily execution and long-term strategy of the facility’s environmental policy. You are responsible for managing the liquid waste pretreatment plant, which handles 8,000 cubic meters daily, while overseeing odor control systems and waste recovery programs. Your work ensures that the site operations remain in strict alignment with French regulatory frameworks like ICPE.
This role is vital because industrial fermentation is a resource-intensive process that relies heavily on water and energy. By optimizing the pretreatment station and driving energy efficiency initiatives, you directly reduce the facility’s localized environmental footprint. You transform complex regulatory constraints into tangible performance gains, ensuring that Lesaffre’s growth in the food and health sectors remains compatible with local ecological limits and community expectations.
This suits someone who possesses a strong industrial engineering background and a deep understanding of French environmental law. You should be equally comfortable performing laboratory technical analysis as you are presenting sustainability KPIs to site leadership.
