As the central figure for sustainability in Peek & Cloppenburg’s new Madrid-based design hub, you will translate high-level environmental goals into the day-to-day operations of private label fashion. You are responsible for steering sourcing and design teams toward responsible material choices while managing complex external audits and certifications. By embedding sustainability into the digital infrastructure of the company, you ensure every garment has a transparent and measurable journey.
This role is critical because it bridges the gap between creative fashion design and rigorous supply chain accountability. You will directly influence the traceability and environmental footprint of a major European retailer’s private labels, moving beyond theory into technical implementation like the Digital Product Passport. It is an opportunity to shape the circularity of textile products at scale within a newly formed, dynamic organizational structure.
This suits someone who possesses a deep technical understanding of textile certifications and thrives on building bridges between creative designers and technical supply chain stakeholders.
