This role centers on the technical heartbeat of social impact: transforming raw data into meaningful narratives for corporate partners. You will own the end-to-end production of annual Social Footprint reports, ensuring every placement and integration is measured with precision. Beyond manual reporting, you are tasked with automating these processes, evolving the existing AI-driven reporting assistant to scale the foundation’s reach.

Working for a foundation that has facilitated over 23,000 contracts for vulnerable individuals, this position offers a rare chance to see the direct human outcome of data analysis. You are not just tracking metrics; you are validating a model that proves social inclusion is a competitive advantage for businesses. Your insights will help top-tier companies understand their specific contribution to reducing inequality and enhancing social return on investment.

This suits someone who possesses a highly quantitative mindset, perhaps from an engineering or data science background, and wants to apply their technical rigor to a mission-driven environment. You should be comfortable moving between complex Power BI dashboards and clear, qualitative storytelling.

FAQ de l’offre

What are the main missions and responsibilities of this role?

The core of this role involves the sistematization and production of Social Footprint reports. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from collection and cleaning to the final delivery of reports to collaborating companies. This includes ensuring data quality and managing strict delivery schedules. You will also take a lead role in technical evolution by maintaining and upgrading an AI-powered reporting assistant. By developing dashboards in Power BI and calculating Social Return on Investment (SROI), you provide the analytical evidence needed for strategic decision-making and stakeholder engagement. Beyond technical tasks, you will support the ESG Manager in strategic projects. This involves preparing dossiers, tracking academic project milestones, and creating compelling presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights for corporate executives.

Key learning opportunities for this job

Candidates can expect deep immersion in social impact measurement, moving beyond generic ESG to specialized frameworks like SROI. You will gain hands-on experience in how social value is quantified and reported to major corporations, providing a unique perspective on the 'S' in ESG. Technically, the role offers significant exposure to AI implementation within a non-profit context. You will learn to integrate generative AI tools into professional reporting workflows and enhance your skills in Power BI for advanced data visualization and process automation. Furthermore, you will learn about the regulatory landscape, specifically how CSRD and ESRS impact social reporting. The exposure to the CSR departments of over 70 major Spanish companies provides an unparalleled overview of corporate sustainability strategies.

How does the ideal candidate look like (experience, skills)?

The foundation is looking for a profile with high quantitative rigor, typically found in Engineering, Data Science, or Economics graduates. While junior, you should have at least one to two years of experience or relevant internships in data analysis, operations, or consulting where process optimization was a key focus. Technical proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential, as is the ability to write clearly and professionally. Because these reports are delivered to high-level corporate clients, your attention to detail and narrative flow must be impeccable. An interest in inclusive employment is vital. Candidates who bring Python or SQL skills for automation, or those who have experimented with generative AI in a business context, will stand out as they can drive the foundation’s technological transition.

Advice to stand out and make a successful application

To stand out, demonstrate your ability to bridge the gap between technical data and social purpose. Don't just list tools; explain a time you optimized a process or used data to tell a story that led to a specific decision. This role is about 'rigor with purpose'. Highlight any familiarity with impact frameworks like GRI or SROI. Even if you haven't used them professionally, showing you understand their logic demonstrates proactive alignment with the Foundation's methodology. Ensure your CV and cover letter are perfectly formatted to reflect the 'excellent writing' requirement. Lastly, research the Foundation's specific impact areas—such as homelessness or gender violence survivors. Showing you understand the human complexity behind the data you will be analyzing will prove your genuine interest in their mission.

What aspects of the company's sustainability is this role likely to focus on?

This role is almost exclusively focused on the Social (S) pillar of ESG. Specifically, it addresses labor inclusion, diversity, and the reduction of inequality within the corporate supply chain and workforce. You will be documenting how hiring vulnerable groups creates tangible value. You will also touch upon Governance (G) through the lens of reporting transparency and compliance. As companies face increasing pressure from CSRD, your reports help them meet their social disclosure requirements with audit-ready data. Finally, the role focuses on Impact Valuation. By calculating social returns, you help shift the corporate mindset from 'charity' to 'investment', making sustainability a core part of the business strategy for the foundation's partners.

What are the main challenges someone in this role might face?

One significant challenge will be data heterogeneity. You will be dealing with data coming from hundreds of different social entities and companies, each with their own reporting formats, requiring high adaptability and meticulous cleaning processes. There is also the challenge of scaling through technology. Moving from manual reporting to an AI-driven, automated system requires overcoming technical hurdles and ensuring that the 'human touch' and nuance of social impact are not lost in the automation. Finally, the seasonal nature of annual reporting can lead to periods of high intensity. Managing the expectations of 70+ corporate partners while maintaining high quality under strict deadlines requires excellent time management and resilience.

How could a typical day look like for someone in this position?

A morning might start with cleansing new datasets from recent social integrations, followed by a meeting with the ESG Manager to discuss improvements to the AI reporting assistant. You might spend time troubleshooting a Power BI dashboard to better visualize social impact trends. In the afternoon, the focus often shifts to narrative reporting. You would draft sections of a Social Footprint report for a specific corporate partner, ensuring the data aligns with their unique ESG goals and writing clear summaries of the year's achievements. Your day might conclude with process documentation. As you find ways to automate recurring tasks, you will document these workflows to ensure the reporting system remains robust and scalable for the foundation's growing network of partners.

What are the opportunities for professional growth and development in this role?

This is a high-visibility role within the foundation, reporting directly to the Responsable de ESG y Sostenibilidad. This proximity offers a front-row seat to how sustainability strategies are designed and executed at a leadership level. You could eventually transition into a Senior ESG Analyst role or move into Strategic Consulting for impact measurement. The skills gained in AI-driven reporting and SROI are currently in high demand across both the non-profit and private sectors. There is also potential for lateral growth into project management. As you become an expert in the data behind social integration, you may lead specific strategic projects or academic collaborations that define the foundation's future direction.

The main stakeholders you might be interacting with

Your primary internal collaborator is the ESG and Sustainability Manager, who will guide your technical development and strategic priorities. You will also work closely with the operations team to gather data on social integrations. Externally, you will interact with CSR and ESG departments of major corporations. While a junior role, your reports are the primary touchpoint between these companies and the foundation, making you a key contributor to these high-level relationships. You may also interact with academic partners and external consultants involved in impact measurement studies, ensuring that the foundation’s data remains aligned with the latest scientific and professional standards in the field.
