Job-FAQs

What are the main missions and responsibilities of this role?

The core of this role involves maintaining and optimizing the Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. You will handle documentation, conduct audits, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively across the production site. Beyond quality management, you will lead the CSR strategy deployment. This includes identifying social and environmental priorities, managing waste and energy consumption reports, and drafting the annual sustainability reporting for executive stakeholders. Safety is also a major pillar. You will be responsible for updating the single risk assessment document (DUERP), managing occupational hazard prevention plans, and conducting safety inductions for new employees to ensure a secure work environment.

Key learning opportunities for this job

A successful candidate will gain deep expertise in ISO 26000 guidelines, learning how to translate high-level CSR theory into concrete industrial action plans. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance in the sensitive biotechnology sector. Exposure to multidisciplinary management is a key benefit, as you will interact with production, HR, and direction. This role offers the chance to master the complete lifecycle of CSR reporting, from data collection to final strategic presentation.

How does the ideal candidate look like (experience, skills)?

The ideal profile holds a Master's degree in QHSE or Sustainable Development with 2 to 5 years of experience in an industrial setting. Proficiency in ISO 9001 and 14001 is essential for managing the technical aspects of the role. Soft skills are just as important as technical ones. We look for someone with pedagogical qualities to train staff on safety, combined with the analytical rigor required to manage complex compliance audits and regulatory monitoring.

Advice to stand out and make a successful application

Highlight your experience in bridging the gap between quality management and CSR. Instead of just listing certifications, provide examples of how you improved environmental performance or safety indicators in your previous roles. Research Ademtech's specific impact in the life sciences sector. Showing you understand the ethical stakes of diagnostic manufacturing will demonstrate that you are not just a compliance officer, but a mission-driven professional aligned with their innovation goals.

What aspects of the company's sustainability is this role likely to focus on?

The focus is heavily weighted toward operational decarbonization and regulatory environmental compliance. You will work on minimizing the physical footprint of the manufacturing process through waste management and energy reduction. There is also a strong social and ethical component. You will likely focus on labor standards, employee health and safety, and ensuring that the corporate governance aligns with the sustainability commitments made to external stakeholders.

What are the main challenges someone in this role might face?

The primary challenge will be balancing the rigidity of quality standards with the more fluid and evolving nature of CSR initiatives. You must ensure that sustainability goals do not conflict with the high-precision requirements of diagnostic production. Changing internal culture can also be difficult. You will need to convince busy operational teams to adopt new sustainable habits and prioritize reporting tasks amidst their daily manufacturing targets.

How could a typical day look like for someone in this position?

Your morning might start with a site walkthrough to verify safety measures and waste sorting labels, followed by a meeting with the RQE to review upcoming ISO audit preparations. In the afternoon, you could switch to strategic work, such as analyzing energy consumption data or drafting content for the annual CSR report. The day often ends with a training session for new hires, emphasizing the company's commitment to safety and social values.

What are the opportunities for professional growth and development in this role?

This role serves as a springboard toward a Head of CSR or QHSE Director position. By successfully integrating CSR into a technical industrial framework, you build a rare and highly sought-after profile. Depending on the company's evolution, you could eventually specialize further in supply chain sustainability or environmental engineering, taking on larger-scale projects within the organizational structure.

The main stakeholders you might be interacting with

You will report directly to the Quality and Environment Manager and collaborate closely with the general management team to define the CSR roadmap. On the ground, you will interact with production teams for safety and quality implementation, and externally, you will liaise with certification bodies and local authorities regarding environmental and labor regulations.
