# Environment and Sustainability Manager

As the Environment and Sustainability Manager, you will translate high-level ESG strategy into tangible, measurable actions across a national digital infrastructure network. You will own the full lifecycle of sustainability data, from rigorous carbon accounting and emissions tracking to reporting insights that inform executive decision-making. By leading cross-functional projects, you will ensure that environmental priorities are integrated into every stage of the fibre rollout.

This role is critical because digital connectivity is the backbone of a low-carbon economy, and CityFibre aims to build this infrastructure with the smallest possible footprint. You will be the architect of the company’s **decarbonisation roadmap**, directly influencing how a major utility operator meets its Science Based Targets. Your work ensures that the digital leap forward for the UK does not come at an environmental cost.

This suits someone who is a data-driven sustainability professional with a talent for influencing stakeholders in engineering or construction-heavy environments. You should be equally comfortable with GHG Protocol technicalities and high-level strategic project management.
